Sage Lawn & Landscaping LLC started in 2014, when owner Matt Puwalowski graduated college with a design degree and realized his true passion laid in landscape design and building his own business. As they say, the rest is history. After five years of hard work and dedication to clients, Sage became an official LLC in 2019. Jim joined the team shortly after, helping us continue to service clients and expand our reach in the Pittsburgh and Western Pennsylvania area.

Simply put, we believe in doing quality work and preserving the beauty of your neighborhood one yard at a time.

 

Meet The Owner

matthew puwalowski

Matt has been cutting grass and doing landscape work since he was 16 years old. After graduating college with a bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, his love for the outdoors inspired him  to continue pursuing building his landscaping business. When he’s not working, Matt is a family man who enjoys spending time with his wife, two sons and dog.

 

Favorite part of working for Sage: “I really enjoy the freedom and tranquility of working outside around nature, and I take pride in seeing the final products we deliver to our clients.” 

Meet The crew leader

jim hyatt

Jim joined the Sage team in 2019 after five years of experience in the lawn and landscaping industry. He guides and works alongside crew members on various job sites. Jim loves sports and being outside both on and off the job. He lives in Pittsburgh with his girlfriend, and their pets.

 

Favorite part of working for Sage: “I enjoy working outside and the variety of work we do. Even if it’s the same type of work, every job is unique.”

Meet The Crew Member

garrett wirkowski

Garrett, much like the rest of the crew, started landscaping at a very young age and finds satisfaction in making a property look its very best. Off the clock, Garrett spends time with his family and getting into anything sports related!

 

Favorite part of working for Sage: “Very welcoming group of people who treat the properties like their own.”
